The "Patton's
Best" chapter offers its members access to its exclusive
"Tankshop." The "Tankshop" is an exclusive feature of the club
and an area for all our chapter members to get together and hone their modeling
skills. The shop is located at the Louisville Bon Air Library located at 2816 Del
Rio Place (off Bardstown Road and Goldsmith Lane - Phone 574-1795).

The "Patton's
Best" chapter meets on the first and third Saturday of each month.
Hours of operations are 09:00 to 12:00 (noon). As always admission is free.
Members are encouraged to bring their own tools for their projects. Many members
have specialty tools and are willing to share. The "Tankshop" is well
lighted and there are numerous tables for building on projects. The club may conduct special classes with club
"experts" in figure painting, the art of filling seams, camouflaging,
airbrushing techniques, applying washes, drybrushing, and other "how to"
seminars. These classes helps our modelers become proficient in the hobby. |
| To get "Patton's
Best" chapter off to a good start the local IPMS/USA club donated a sizable
cash amount. The generous donation was for the "Patton's Best"chapter
to help get started with associated start-up costs. Here is the local IPMS/USA club's treasurer, Mike "Danger"
Nofsinger presenting a check in the amount of $4,500.00 to "Patton's
Best" AMPS member J.R. "Uncle" Dietrich. On behalf of all "Patton's
Best" members, we thank you.

I've always felt that I was
destined for some great achievement, what I do not know.
The last great opportunity of a lifetime - an *entire* world, at war and I'm left
out of it? God, will not permit this to happen - I will be *allowed*, to fulfil my
destiny! His will be done.
